GENERAL (R) ATHER ABBAS FORMER DGISPR said that the last war against the terrorists will be fought in Southern Punjab they have their safe heavens there. He said that Punjab government was in state of denial against terrorism till now. He said that after the meeting of apex committee Shuja Khanzada was working as the leader of the Punjab police and intelligence agencies. He said that it is pity that we could not protect Shuja Pasha who was playing a pivotal role in the fight against terrorism. He said that terrorists have made their mind now to target political and other important personalities like IRA. He said if Shuja Khanzada denied taking the security it was the duty of the security agencies to make sure that he was protected. He said that Shuja Khanzada was not just an individual but he was the leader of an institution. He said that we need to penetrate in the ideology of the terrorists scrutinize it and be many steps ahead of them. He said that instead of reactive on the terrorist’s actions we need to be preemptive against them.
He said that the spat between Ch Sher Ali and Rana Sana Ullah is PML-n internal issue PM and CM should interfere in it to resolve it. He said that in the war against terrorism the security agencies need full cooperation and support of the government.
He said that the debate on the role of the generals behind the Dharna of PTI is not in the interest of anybody the situation of the country is not good. He said that if there is any proof of general’s role in Dharna the political leadership should talk to the military through back door. He said that sensitive issues create problems if they are discussed in the public. He said that there is no seriousness being expressed by the government against terrorism.
He said that the government should not be intimidated by the popularity of General Raheel both have their separate role.
SAEED GHANI OF PPPP said that the media should not criticize the high security of the ministers may be that is the reason Shuja Khanzada denied to have security and became the victim of the terrorism. He said that Shuja Khanzada was the first man that took lead against the terrorism.
He said that the accusations against Rana Sana Ullah are not labeled by PPPP or PTI but by a responsible PML-N member.
He said that besides Mushahid Ullah, Khawaja Asif and Mohammad Zubair have also given statements about the role of the military generals behind Dharna. He said that in his opinion the role of the general’s behind Dharna should be investigated so the debate should be finished.
He said that PML-N should clear the accusations of Ch Sher Ali against Rana Sana Ullah because their nature is very serious.
He said that the government and the military brass have no other choice now but to be on the same page.
ABID SHER ALI OF PML-N said that Shahbaz Sharif has reiterated his resolve against the terrorism today.
He said that Farrukh Abbas a police officer in Faisalabad is involved in the target killing of nineteen people and extortion. He said that when Shahbaz Sharif visited Faisalabad the people demanded to conduct investigations against Farrukh Abbas and apprehend him. He said that his father introduced Rana Sana Ullah in politics and taught him walking by holding his finger.
He said that as PM has stated that there is no such tape of General Zaheer then this issue should be over now.
He said that PM and CM have shown their strong will that the war against terrorism will continue till the last terrorist is eradicated.
